On Wednesday, November 19th, at 2:30 pm, in Humphrey Auditorium, the FAS Faculty Board will host a special ‘State of FAS 2.0’ update from the Dean. The Dean wrote in an email that his presentation will include an “update on FAS finances, ongoing work on financial recovery pillars, and future–proofing FAS.” Given this preview, and the tenor of past town halls, we anticipate the meeting will touch on further budget cuts and the future of departments within FAS (with rumours of mergers continuing to circulate).
