Dear friends of QCAA,
Shortly after we posted last night, our colleagues in PSAC 901 announced that they are on strike. The final proposal from the administration was shockingly inadequate in relation to what we believe are the reasonable demands put forward by PSAC. Once again, we declare our unwavering solidarity with PSAC 901 members, whose work keeps this university going.
We invite you to show support for PSAC at a lunch hour solidarity picket tomorrow, Tuesday, March 11th, at noon at the corner of Union and University.
We also invite you to do all you can to challenge the administrators’ narrative that it is business as usual during the strike. In an effort to document the effects of the strike, we are gathering info on disruptions to teaching, research, and service. If you have knowledge of such disruptions, we would ask you to share them anonymously on this form.
