The Faculty of Arts and Science’s Budget Advisory Committee has been meeting for close to a year now but faculty, staff, and students are yet to learn any details about their proposal to restructure the faculty, much less be provided with opportunities for input.

Two town hall meetings scheduled for tomorrow, Monday, March 18th, provide an opportunity to ask questions about the proposed organization of the faculty, the research, evidence, and principles informing restructuring, and the process and timeline for any changes to be made.

The town halls were mentioned in the FAS newsletter that came out last Wednesday (March 13) and in the one that came out on February 7th. The town hall meetings do not appear in the FAS events calendar.
