As Queen’s community members continue to navigate conditions of austerity and budget cuts, we know that these cuts are felt most severely by folks in precarious and temporary positions. This event will focus on adjunct experiences of budget cuts, in the context of university austerity.

Please join us on March 19th from 1:30-3:00 pm for a remote discussion on how austerity measures are impacting adjunct faculty. This event is co-hosted by QUFA’s Adjunct Advocacy Committee and Political Action and Communications Committee.

We will hear from Dr. Nigmendra Narain, President of OCUFA, and Dr. Melissa Houghtaling, Chair of QUFA’s Adjunct Advocacy Committee.
